Sonic Boom Reading Session

On Saturday, January 10, 2009 Vancouver Pro Musica will hold an open reading session of works by local BC composers at the Vancouver Public Library Central Branch (350 West Georgia Street) in the Alice MacKay Room.

These pieces have been submitted for inclusion in the 2009 Sonic Boom Festival, and have been written specifically for the ensemble in residencemusica intima. This session is free and open to the public. Composer in Residence Stephen Chatman will moderate the reading session, in which a total of 12 new pieces will be read. Composers will be present to receive feedback and comments from Stephen Chatman and musica intima in an informal and educational environment.
