The Rendezvous Concert

The Rendezvous Concert brings together "the most exciting small choir in the land" (National Post) and one of Canada's great musicians, pianist Rena Sharon. It's a collaborative programme of seldom-heard Romantic works for piano and vocal ensemble featuring Spanish and German poetry set to music by Johannes Brahms and Carlos Guastavino (the "Argentinean Brahms"). Also on the bill: Canadian Sid Robinovitch's masterful and haunting Canciones por las Americas. A gorgeous way to the end the season!
