Experience the pure harmonies and enduring inspiration of the great English composer, Thomas Tallis, in a dramatic season opener celebrating his 500th birthday. As the days grow shorter and the nights longer, musica intima explores the relationship between darkness and light through Tallis' masterwork, The Lamentations of Jeremiah. And we illuminate his legacy in contemporary music with a new commission based on Tallis’ If ye love me, by Vancouver composer Peter Hannan.
