The 2010/2011 concert series features the intimate and unique, world-class performances that musica intima is known for. In a world where everything old becomes new again, the human experience is timeless. Eras pass and perspectives change, but the experience of life remains unaltered. Our season explores these truths, uncovering the bigger issues in our hearts and showcasing music's ability to express hurt and to heal. This journey includes an epic exploration of triumph and tragedy in apocalypse & redemption (October); our Christmas concert all is bright (December); and a fantastical trip back to Shakespearean times with where there’s a will (April). The programmes include traditional favourites, contemporary gems, intima classics, and songs from our new album, into light.
