Sokolovic: Dring, dring

Written for quartet, and reworked for musica intima by the composer, ‘Dring, dring’ is a playful and poignant exploration of telecommunications in the early 2010s - citing classic Apple ringtones as well as creating four characters who interact over the phone lines. Recorded for ‘thirst’ in 2015, this performance dates from the Modulus Festival (Music on Main) of that year.
