Gershwin, arr.: Quick: Fascinatin' Rhythm

musica intima has, throughout our history, had a critical mass of ‘jazzers’ in the ensemble - which lead to the decision to do a concert featuring music of George Gershwin, Cole Porter, Rodgers and Hammerstein, and more, entitled ‘Songbooks’. The majority of arrangements came from within the ensemble, including Jonathan Quick’s arrangement here - an exceptional piece which calls for incredible vocal agility and skill.
