Lang: Agneau de Dieu

Although this piece was penned out of necessity in the days leading up to the CBC choral competition, it demonstrates the mastery of lush harmonies which Lang has become known for. This emotive setting juxtaposes a solo quartet with the full ensemble reflecting the tenderness of the text of the Agnus Dei. The piece closes with a plaintive tenor solo, begging for peace.
