Balfour/Tallis: Four Directions [SATBarB

Based on the brief setting of 'Te lucis ante terminum' by Tallis, Balfour's arrangement of this work creates an evocative sound world, with a new Ojibway text on the Four Directions.  An opening tenor solo surrounded by drones and bird songs gives way to brief SATTB polyphony, before returning to the sounds of the natural world.  Perfect for choirs of any size, this work is a great introduction to both the music of the renaissance and the music of NAGAMO.  IPA pronunciation guide and translation included.

This is the version for SATBarB.  Four Directions is also available for SMATB.

80% of profits go directly to the composer.  Please support their work by purchasing as many copies of this work as you intend to print.
