Galbraith: Sérénade

Recorded October 2014 at Dunbar Heights United Church

In one of musica intima's earliest commissions, Vancouver composer Craig Galbraith sets an eerie poem by Paul Verlaine. Galbraith's haunting use of a unique harmonic language is perfectly suited to this ethereal love poem that crosses into the obsessive.
